WELCOME TO HEARTS OF ENGLAND ASSOCIATION
We are a small charity which has been running for 30 years. We consist of a dedicated team of volunteers who meet once a month and are committed to raising funds to purchase cardiac equipment for local communities throughout the West Midlands.
OUR AIMS & OBJECTIVES
Our primary aims & objectives are to; Providing relief to those in need: Many charities aim to provide assistance and support to individuals or communities facing various challenges, such as poverty, homelessness, hunger, or natural disasters. Along with; Supporting specific groups or causes: Some charities focus on supporting specific groups, such as children, the elderly, people with disabilities, or marginalized communities. They may aim to provide resources, advocacy, or empowerment to these groups.
FUNDRAISING
Our fundraising typically involves organising events or campaigns to raise funds for research, education, and support programs related to heart health. Some common fundraising activities include charity runs or walks, gala dinners, auctions, and online campaigns. These events and campaigns aim to raise awareness about heart health issues and encourage individuals and organizations to donate money to support the cause. What Our Fundraising provides
Cardiac equipment
Cardio equipment refers to machines or devices that are used for cardiovascular exercise, which is aimed at improving the health of the heart and lungs. Some common examples of cardio equipment include treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical trainers, rowing machines, and stair climbers. DEFIBRILLATORS
Defibrillators, specifically Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), are incredibly important in the community. Our donations to schools, businesses, families, and other organisations ensure that every place we donate an AED is prepared to save the life of someone in sudden cardiac arrest. We also provide CPR/AED Training and assist with setting up emergency action plans.
• Who WE HAVE HELPED
Funds raised and donated to HoEA are typically used for a variety of purposes, all aimed at combating heart disease and improving the lives of those affected by it. Up to the end of 2022 we have provided defibrillators as well as purchasing cardiac equipment along with donating funds for cardiac causes to the below organisations plus many more….
